Cookie Dough Skillet

There is simply nothing better than gooey, warm cookie dough with a scoop of ice-cream. This is the perfect share size dish for 2-3 people. It requires no mixer and is ready to eat in under 30minutes. You can add any chocolate you like, personally I love dark chocolate chips as the dough is already very sweet.

Ingredients

Serves 2-3 / 456 calories per serving (3 people)

  • 4 tbsp butter (melted)

  • 65g plain flour

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 80g light brown sugar

  • 70g dark chocolate chips

  • 1 egg yolk

  • (Optional) Scoop of ice-cream

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.

  2. In a bowl mix together the melted butter with sugar.

  3. Add the egg yolk and mix well.

  4. Sift in the flour and baking powder until dough formed.

  5. Mix in chocolate chips.

  6. Add to skillet / oven proof dish & press down with the back of a spoon to an even layer.

  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until deep golden colour.

  8. Serve with a scoop of ice-cream on top & some extra chocolate chips (optional). I love salted caramel icecream.
